Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Journeys on Wheels, a brand of Maha 12 LLC, collects when you use journeysonwheels.com or book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, make a booking or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, trip details (dates, times, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight numbers, number of passengers, occasion and notes) and any message you send.
Booking and payment. When you reserve, we keep your signed agreement, quote and payment records. Card details are entered on our payment processor’s secure page; we do not see or store full card numbers.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time — to keep the site secure and working.
2. How we use it
- To answer your inquiry and send you a quote.
- To arrange and deliver your trip, including sharing the trip details your chauffeur needs.
- To take payments, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations.
- To contact you about your booking by email, phone or, if you agree, text message.
- To prevent fraud and protect our customers, chauffeurs and vehicles.
- To improve our website and services.
3. Text messages
If you tick the box to receive texts, we send messages about your quote and booking, such as confirmations, chauffeur details and day-of updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of booking.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our service:
- with the chauffeur and, where applicable, the independent transportation operator performing your trip;
- with service providers that run our business on our behalf — website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend) and payment processing — under their own security obligations;
- when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, chauffeurs or the public;
- with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganized.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, this policy will say so before it is switched on.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and booking and payment records for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. We then delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this site. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send card numbers by email or text.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To make a request, use our contact form. We will respond within 45 days.
9. Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Bookings for minors, such as proms and quinceañeras, must be made by an adult.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its “last updated” date.
